Job Description
As a Cognitive Layer Developer, you will build the “brain” of the Cognitive OS — the Context Engine that understands what the user is doing, why they’re doing it, and how the system should assist intelligently.
You’ll design a framework that continuously captures user context (apps used, actions taken, behavior patterns), converts it into embeddings, and feeds that understanding back into the OS for decision-making, automation, and adaptive UX.
Your work will bridge AI, systems programming, and behavioral computing, enabling the OS to feel “alive” and contextually aware.

Requirements
Strong programming background: Rust, Python, or Go (Rust preferred).
Understanding of system-level events: process monitoring, filesystem hooks, input events, etc.
Experience with LLMs, embeddings, or vector databases (FAISS, Milvus, Qdrant).
Familiarity with contextual AI, user modeling, or cognitive computing.
Experience with graph databases (Neo4j, RedisGraph) or context stores.
Basic knowledge of Linux internals and IPC mechanisms.
Comfort with asynchronous event-driven architectures and real-time data processing.
